Nailed some tacks into an old ikea frame a friend left behind when she moved out of Hong Kong.
Threaded on a thin black wool.
And got weaving in some wool scraps. :)

So my lovely friend has been wanting to learn some craft. We have been trying to schedule it for months and then this weekend all the stars aligned and we were both free! She did a great job. Just one afternoons work! Planning .... And Playtime Then finished!
I just love visiting temples. Everyone if different. So many have such beautiful rich colours.
These photos were taken on a recent visit to Taiwan. Ok here it is all finished!!! Awsome holiday knit project because the repetitions are easy to remember.
This weekend I am aiming to focus on my May quilt and sew a dress. Just these to things.... And perhaps go out for coffee and dinner perhaps.... Focus!! This sure is lovely stuff!! And as a gift from my mother Harriet the scarf/hap pattern by Kate Davies is just perfect for it!!!
I have changed the pattern a little to stocking stitch from garter stitch. It showes off the wool colours better. More photos to follow soooooon |
